Trademarks

Several Gulf states, such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman, are members of the Madrid System and can designate Türkiye in an international registration. Where Madrid is not available, a national filing through a Turkish attorney is the route. Protect the Latin-script form Turkish customers will read, and the Arabic form if it appears on products.

Patents

The GCC states are members of the PCT, so an international application can enter the Turkish national phase within 30 months of priority.

Designs

Designs are filed nationally in Türkiye or, where available, through the Hague System.
