Why a watch matters

Apart from identical or indistinguishably similar marks for the same kind of goods, TÜRKPATENT does not refuse conflicting marks on its own; it relies on right holders to oppose within two months of publication. Without a watch, conflicting marks can be registered and later need invalidity actions in court, which take longer and are conducted by lawyers.

What we watch

• Identical and similar word marks, including transliterations
• Similar logos and figurative elements
• Related classes where confusion is likely

What you receive

For each relevant hit: the published mark, its applicant and classes, our short assessment of the risk and the last day to oppose. Clearly irrelevant hits are filtered out, so the alerts stay readable.

Beyond the bulletin

On request we also watch company names in the trade registry and new domain names for your brand, which often reveal an infringer before a trademark application does.
