  1. Portfolio import

    We record your rights and their due dates in our calendar.

  2. Reminders

    You receive reminders before each due date, with time to decide.

  3. Payment

    On your instruction we pay the fee at TÜRKPATENT.

  4. Report

    You receive confirmation of each payment and an updated list.

Why annual fees matter

An unpaid annual fee ends the protection: the patent or utility model lapses and the invention becomes free for others to use. A clear calendar is the simplest way to avoid losing a right by accident.

The grace period

If a fee is not paid by its due date, it can still be paid within six months with an additional fee. After that, the right lapses; in limited circumstances the law allows a request to restore it, which we assess case by case.

Reviewing the portfolio

Each payment is also a decision. Once a year we can review with you which rights still support your products, licences or markets, so fees are paid where protection still matters.

What happens if I miss a patent annual fee in Türkiye?

The fee can still be paid within six months of the due date with an additional fee. If it is not paid in that period, the patent lapses.

Do validated European patents pay fees in Türkiye?

Yes. After validation, the annual fees for Türkiye are paid at TÜRKPATENT.

Can you take over payments from another provider?

Yes. We import your list, check the due dates and take over from the next payment.
