Trademarks

France and the Benelux countries are members of the Madrid System. A Madrid registration based on a French (INPI) or Benelux (BOIP) mark can designate Türkiye. An EU trade mark does not cover Türkiye.

Patents

A European patent can be validated in Türkiye within three months of the mention of grant; the Unitary Patent does not include Türkiye. PCT applications enter the Turkish national phase within 30 months of priority.

Designs

Designs are protected in Türkiye by a national filing or a Hague designation of Türkiye; an EU design does not cover Türkiye.
